I accept BlueCrossBlueShield, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare Student Resources insurance plans
If you have a copay or co-insurance, this will be due at the time of service.
While I work with our office assistant confirm your benefits and provide an estimated copay before our first session, clients are ultimately responsible for knowing their benefits and understanding their cost obligation. Therefore, we encourage you to take the time to call your insurance carrier as well.
If a client wishes to use their out-of-network insurance benefit to pay for services, I can provide a superbill statement at the end of each month that documents the dates of service and the amount paid. Clients then submit this documentation to their insurance company and are reimbursed directly for the portion of charges that are covered by the insurance plan. Before booking an appointment, I suggest calling the number on the back of your insurance card, inquiring about your “out-of-network” therapy benefits, and learning about how to submit an out-of-network reimbursement claim.
